Week3 Lo3

Today i will be creating a critique, a personal response on the production Quadrophenia that i saw at the mayflower.

I started by writing down notes on :

-what i liked.

-what i didn't like

-the lighting and staging

After i made my notes i wrote a draft so that i could go back and change what i needed to change.

I took on some criticism from my draft and then rewrote it and made my final one. I then got some of the group to read it and give me feedback some was positive and some was negative, so i then went over it one more time and did it again.

Week 2 Lo2

I now know the main details of the module that i am doing. The module is all about the jobs in the creative and media scene.
This week i will be searching in to jobs. So all jobs that relate to the industry from as far as the sount of england.
I have to go on the internet and go on many different job sites. As thier are so many job sites itas hard finding a place to start, so i just started with media then narrowed it down to sections such as:
-Radio
-Newspaper
-Cinema
-performer
and all the small insight jobs included.

To start me of i just made a list i would write the title of the job out, were it was, all the qualifications needed and a brief summary also the pay on certain jobs. This gave me a clear understanging and knoledge on the jobs and what they require.

Though i can find jobs other places rather then just the internet, such as news papers, magazines and flyers. I found looking on the internet was very uselful and alot easier as it is very effective.
Rather then looking at just big jobs i looked at local areas meaning such as Warsash, Park gate, Locks heath, Sarisbury, whitely etc

I looked at a local radio station website to find out about their jobs.

Overall i have took a clear understanding of the job roles in the chosen region. I understand for each job that you need different qualifications.

Week 1 Lo1

Today i fund out about the new module Scene. This module is about the local areas the jobs available and reviewing shows and To start of this module i will have to research in to all the local venues.

This week will research into the local venues. I will collect the resources from different sources such as the internet, papers and guides.

To start of i started researching on the internet of all the different venues. I started with cinemas then moving on to theaters.

At the end of the day i ended up with al different types of venues varying from Cinemas, art galleries, festivals, events and much more. On each one i found i wrote a small summary about who and what they were.

I also found some venues from guides but not as many as i did on the internet.

On this stage i think one of the things i did well was organize it out well and it was descriptive. Though one of the things i think i could improve on was not rely on the internet as much.
